Having been brought up in a musical environment, it was inevitable that Mike would make a name for himself as an artist in his own right, but not without earning his spots first.

Mike has paid his dues as a sideman over the last fifteen years with the likes of Elkie Brooks, Tony Hadley, Kid Creole, Heather Small, ABC and Sandi Thom.

In 2016, he was asked to work alongside the international brand CREAM as their sax and keys player for the CREAM CLASSICS tour in 2016-2018 with K-Klass and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

A musician from the age of 10, he went onto study at the prestigious Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where he now teaches saxophone.

His diverse and wide ranging experience have given him kudos amongst his peers and he has become one of the most sought after sax players in the area.

Wedding Ceremony

During the ceremony you may wish to have entrance and exit music performed on the saxophone, and you may wish to have a musical interlude during the signing of the register. Drinks Reception

This is the most popular option for solo saxophone sets. He can play solo saxophone to set the perfect ambience for your guests as they arrive at your drinks reception. Understanding that his job is to compliment and not dominate the proceedings, typically he would start playing as guests arrive. Performances are usually 2 x 45 minute sets

Wedding Breakfast

Often the wedding breakfast is accompanied by a musical backdrop; he can set the perfect relaxed atmosphere with a host of classic or contemporary tunes. or for that extra touch of class and musicianship, he can incorporate a sax & guitar duo performance. This adds a great dimension and an even more varied repertoire.

With enough luck to participate in this relatively unknown world of live performance from its inception in the late 90’s, he now regularly plays in nightclubs for those who are looking to bring that extra live music element to their events.
